Do you have a Microsoft Office 2007 on your pc? What if you don't have Office or word application and you want to open a document on your pc. What would you do? There's a firefox extension here that I found that you can open .docx files without Office Word 2007 which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux users.
This is called OpenXML viewer, by installing this you're be able to open any docx files using Firefox.
