Teenage Acne

Descripción

So many people suffer from teenage acne - why? And how do you overcome this puberty problem?

Young people who are in the puberty stage often face the problems of teenage acne and this in most cases negatively affects the quality of their lives. Often the implication is severe on the social, intellectual and the emotional fronts.

The facial scars are nothing when you compare them with the deep emotional scars that teenage acne leaves behind. In many cases the implications can lower the self esteem of the person and even change the way he thinks and behaves. And these behavioral changes remain long after the blemishes of acne are gone.

I know this because I have myself suffered from teenage acne for as many as 13 long years and it devastated me as it does to so many others. Most of my teen years were spent alone, in shame and in guilt. Teenage acne robbed me of my teenage years. So i took on the mission of beating this and after 7 years of rigorous research and experimentation on the subject, I have finally been able to win this battle. Today I do not have acne anymore and feel free to mix with people. My social life has improved tremendously and my skin has become in one word "great".

And so i want others to feel the same like I am feeling at this time. For their convenience, I am revealing here what I found out about teenage acne, its causes, the cure that works the best and what parents should do when they have a kid who has teenage acne. Let the fight against teenage acne begin.

What are the various theories and symptoms of teenage acne?

The severity of the acne often varies and it can be anything from mild to acute. And the acne may appear as a cyst that can pain a lot to simple blackheads and whiteheads, to large pimples and severe boils. Moderate cases are obviously better and in this the growths are seen on the face mostly, but some are also there on the back and on the chest area. However when there are quite a few sore cysts all over the body such as in the chest, neck, back and of course on the face and there is accompanying scarring too, then it is bound to be a severe case.

And here's an interesting observation! Did you know that it is the males who are affected by severe acne? And in males, the acne is mostly on the chest and the back?

There are loads of theories as to what exactly causes the teenage acne. One popular theory is of course that they happen when the pores get blocked. Here are two reasons you might love - some blame it on the genes, and there are those who says that it happens when the natural immunity of the body tries to fight the acne bacteria. Other popular thoughts include low nutrient levels in the body and high hormone levels during puberty. The lifestyle we lead and the stress we all have to go through now has also been blamed for teenage acne.

It took me 7 years to investigate all these claims and find out what does not cause teenage acne and what does. And finally I know. In this time I learnt a lot and it took a lot of trial and error to finally reach the truth. It is this knowledge that has helped me ultimately beat teenage acne.

Teenage acne - the real causes

We hope that the problem passes, but it never does because teenage acne is not something temporary. There are deep internal issues within the body and they need to be solved for the acne to go. Often we make the mistake of treating the symptoms because this is what we see - but this is wrong because as mentioned above, the problems are internal and not on the surface. Since creams, OTC drugs, antibiotics and conventional medicines try to do this - they fail. The teenage acne thus never gets cured as the basic problem remains.

In reality, the young person may develop the acne when the hormones in his body cannot be expelled and thus he ends up having a high number of them. This leads to an imbalance. But it can also happen when there are a lot of toxins in the lymph and the blood. The genetic tendency of producing more oil when there is a hormonal imbalance also leads to the formation of teenage acne.

Since these are the causes, the cure is also in fighting them - that is in finding an answer to the toxins and the hormonal buildup.

Teenage acne - the role of parents

Parents play a very important role here as they have the moral responsibility of ensuring that the teenager's social life and emotional status is not hampered. Teenage acne often becomes a serious issue and so the parent needs to be understanding and careful.

Blaming the child for the teenage acne is meaningless and this approach will only make the matter worse. What you should rather do is show empathy to help the person get out from the obvious problems that he is going through. You need to show a lot of patience here.

Look into his or her eyes and you will see the anguish and the pain the pain the person is going through. Reach out to the teenager and talk to him or her. Show the person that you care and understand the condition and never make a judgment for the actions.

There is no one who loves to suffer from teenage acne because they want to look good and this is also important for the intellectual and social progress. Do some research on your own and share your findings and let it be known that you care a lot and fight with them to beat their teenage acne.
